South Island Sevens – A uniquely Isle of Wight event

The South Island Sevens has grown. Presented by Snows BMW, an entirely different approach to “Sevens” creates a sports festival experience quite unlike any other. You’ll be staying minutes from the beach at Whitecliff Bay one of the Isle of Wight’s leading holiday parks. Your accommodation package provides discounted car ferry crossings. 2 nights accommodation in chalets (4-8 birth) from £37.50pp.

Arrive Friday evening and join us on the beach, Saturday night will see our Athletes gather together for a sundowner at the pool, Riseloud back in residence. Then “indoors” for a private party until 2am. You’ll find the site the perfect hub, 2 pools, private beach and bars licensed until 2am. The sports venue is only 13 minutes away. Event catering and all your “mod-Cons” are on site.

We’ve made getting to the Isle of Wight as easy for our athletes as is possible. If you’re staying with us at Whitecliff Bay, just following the information on your booking, arrive at either Wightlink or Red Funnel car ferry terminals and make your way to the Holiday Park once you arrive on the Island.

Cross the Solent from Southampton, Portsmouth, or Lymington.

All Wightlink car ferries have spacious lounges and outdoor sun decks so you can relax and take in the stunning views as you cross the Solent. Sail from Portsmouth or Lymington with your car or from Portsmouth to Ryde on a high-speed catamaran as a foot passenger.

Red Funnel are proud to have been operating ferries to the Isle of Wight for over 160 years, The original Isle of Wight ferry service now sees both car ferries and the high speed Redjet catamaran passenger service travel between Southampton and Cowes.
